i got a decat fitted few days ago, sounds great and can notice better power at low revs, only took 5 mins to fit so easy to swap back for mot
dont declare it on insurance if u cant afford it and just dont crash

I'd get a yozzasport decat. On a 182 it's worth it if you're not bothered by the insurance issues. Very quick to change a decat, unlike on a 172.
the cat on a 182 is 200 cell so really its sports cat...
Been thinking about getting a decat pipe. But are they actually worth the hassel with having to swap them over at MOT time and such?
And as a second point, what decat would you go for? Ive got a miltek cat back on my 182 if that makes any difference.

The decat itself isnt illegal.
Its the fact that it might not pass emmisions that is.

i´ve got the KTR ultra sport zorst, want to change to the KTR sports cat or the decat pipe.
but if the original cat has only 200cells it doesn´t make sense or?
