Is it ok to mix these oils?

I assume they are the same, just one was bought years ago, the other not so many years ago.

Just if i add the 2 together i have enough for a gear oil change.

wont be disasterous, however, I'd look closer at the specs on the label, see if they're both GL4 or GL5 etc

The reason NFJ was bought is because they don't make the TRJ so guessing it's just been renamed?

But i'll check the containers tomorrow cheers.

nfj is GL4, trj is GL5. I'd only use GL4 personally

Pour a little of each into a jam jar and give it a good shake, see if it separates

it's not the separation that would cause any issue. I'm paraphrasing from memory of a tech document i read about 7 years ago, but GL5 has a high sulphur content, and some boxes dont like that dependant on the synchromech material. I've always avoided it because my nissans and peugeots are sensative to it.
