Is it worth doing it your self

I want to colour code my bump strips and door handles, but im unsure wether to do it myself or pay to get it done.

To do it myself it will cost around 17 pound

Does anybody know how much it cost to get them professionally done?

Thanks,
James

If it was me I would sand them myself and then get someone else to paint them. You want to remove all the texture from them and get them super smooth (as smooth as the bodywork if you want it to match properly)

i thought it was the prim ing layer that creats the smooth surfice and sanding it to remove impurities and give a surface that the primer cabn grip too

or maybe not???

if i was you james, give it ago yourself ans if it really goes pete tong then go to a pro

because youolid colour it should be easier to match whereas colours like mine flame red are a two tone colour so very difficult to match

that guide is very good so follow that, prep well and take your time you should have a good result
