Is my clio a mk2 phase 1 or 2?

Could someone please tell me the difference between a mk2 phase 1 and a mk2 phase 2 clio. I drive a clio expression 2001 and am unsure which one mine is.

IIRC, the Expession only came in with the facelift model, so I would say you have a ph2 car. Easy way to tell, if you have the goggle eye version, like the original 172 then its a Ph1, if its a kinda triangle shape then its a Ph2 Clio.

erm, do you back lights have a silver circle in the middle??
if so its a ph2,

if the lights are solid red, its a ph1,


also, is your front badge on the bonnet?? if so its a ph1,
if its on the grill/bumper, its a ph2
