Of the heat shield a really quite loud tinny sounding one that makes your car sound like a bucket??

Id say so. Mine does it, its the most irritating thing! Mainly does it in high revs. There's a thread about fixing it with washers and original bolts on here

The rear heat shield can come loose. Best way to fix it is large flat washers and new spring clips from Renault. Or large self tapper nuts if you haven't got a Renault garage handy.

Mine only rattles when its sitting ticking over...sound about right! Just sounds like a quality street tin lid is rattling under my car...sound right?

Could be a loose bolt.

I've got same thing, looked under car expecting heat shield and was a loose exhaust bolt

i have the same problem at low revs can hear the heat sheild rattling round so annoying need to fix it soon.
