saw this yesturday, all b****cks! brill handling car imo, not as chuckable as some cars but its totally different being mid engined and rear wheel drive

  Better than yours. C*nt.
NO you feel free to make comments about the Trophy's and V6's but haven't owned either for a decent period of time to have formed a real opinion of them.

Managed a couple of thousand miles in the Trophy thanks, and even had the V6 and the Trophy at the same time for a few days.

It's long enough - it's not like I drove it round a track three times on an experience day instead ;)

Brilliant Handling? Have you actually driven a v6?

Fair play I bow down to your awesome driving skills and anal ytical ability to form considered opinions about how cars feel.

Perhaps you should give up your day job and become a vehicle dynamics tester.

:)

There's no need for the attitude, I was simply pointing out that you're sat there commenting on how I was able to drive a car in such a short period of time, yet you obviously don't realise that despite being detailed to within an inch of their life the cars still get driven!

Don't just assume you're right because you own one. The Trophy is an excellent car, but it's not as good as the Vee. Why do you think I sold the Trophy AFTER buying the Vee?!

172/182's can't do this

You only did 2000 miles in your Trophy and then sold it?

Well that makes you an authority on the cars then.

Ah well it doesn't matter what I think as all Trophy drivers are tossers as I seem to remember you saying.

Have fun in your V6

;)

Yes, the seats were a letdown and the car wasn't as much fun as a Vee. I've got the money to burn and wanted a car that made me happy - something you seem to hold a grudge against me for. Get over it.

Well that makes you an authority on the cars then.

Please, care to point out where I've said I'm an authority on the car? All I've given is my opinion, rather than the frankly utter b****cks that you've posted!

You're doing an epic job of proving my point - the majority seem to think that because it's red it should be worshipped like a Ferrari. IT'S A CLIO - and TBH one that a boggo 172 Cup could keep up with in 99% of situations if you look at the REAL WORLD.

Have fun in your V6

I will. Fred's illustrated a great way of having fun in that picture, but then there's the noise. No raspy 4-pot, just a smooth, sensual vee intake noise.

How about you wake up and realise that it's a Clio - enjoy it for what it is and appreciate others... There are better cars out there!

Yes dear thank you your helpful comments I will now go and hang my head in shame for daring to question the almighty V6.

I love the V6's, my friend ran one for around a year (ph2) It wasnt about going quick though for me, just the experience of being in it and the presence they have was more than enough to win me over!

No dig at you, but I really hate the word 'chuckable' I always have thoughts of Clio 172/182 owners driving like loons, i'm yet to see it though (track stuff excluded)

ha ermm windey then but that doesnt look right now...

yeah see what you mean, by chuckable i mean poor driving skills, like flinging it into a roundabout and the car sorting its self out, if i did that the vee would prob fall over

Lol !!

I know what you mean, I call that recklessness;) I'm also yet to see any 172/182 driver do it.

This thread is piss funny!!!

At the end of the day, regarding the first post. NO.....the Clio V6 isn't that bad to drive at all. And all c**k suckers who think they know about how a car drives before they even have the bollox to give one a good royal ragging should be shot....like the chap who wrote the MSN review. End of

I'll give your boring lil 2 ltr 4 pot a go....how much of a head start do you want?

Well as you seem to be so confident I'm guessing that its not a standard car?

If it is feel free to take it up to the RS day on the 17th of October and your welcome to join me for a play.

To be fair though my arguement was with Mike 182 and not you but hey I'm game.

;)
