Is there a guide anywhere to replacing component front speakers?

  182 Trophy #196
I've been searching around looking for a guide to replace the front Clio 182 speakers.

I've been looking at 13cm speakers and tweeter replacements here:
HTML:

I'm new to the car audio thing and hearing stuff about crossovers and wire crimping etc, I'm not sure where to start.

Does anyone have any advice or know of a guide anywhere?

Thanks

its quite simple, on the crossover there should be a bit for the speaker to wire into and a bit for the tweeter to wire into, then a bit for the input, you just wire the two wires off the original speakers into the input and bobs your uncle :) hope this helps any more info shout

If you can stretch to these, they will be infinately better than those jbl's:

Standard headunit is usually the biggest let down in the system tbh. Changing the headunit and running the standard speakers will reap bigger benefits in SQ than the standard headunit with aftermarket speakers.

Crossover units can usually be hidden behind the doorcard depending on vehicle. although with the tweeters in the clio being on the dash, it may be best to leave the crossover unit in the vehicle.

I mounted my crossovers under the dash and ran the cable to each door, so the tweeters are in the oe position.
