Is there a power source inside the door?

Need to know, just to run a small circuit and some relays. I know the lights for the window switches have power, but this is only when lights are on. I need the power whenever the cigarette lighter is powered.

This will simplify my next project if I dont have to tap off the lighter.

yes but its in the back of the elec window switch..just tap into that but make sure the thing you powering wont overload the fuse

to rate a fuse for the kit divide the power by the supply voltage

use a fuse slightly higher rating then the figure you get

cool. Will look at that as a potential power source. Will also definitely use a fuse.
