Is this a good price for cam and aux change

As it says above car is just over the 5 year mark now and thought that I should enquire about it. So i went to my local Renault dealer and asked then for it to be supplied and fitted its £390.00. I was quite surprised when they said that and thought it was a good price. So if people can help and tell me what they paid or have been quoted that would help thanks

thats a good price but i would check they are doing the cam belt, aux belt and tensioners.

that's not for an aux kit, that'll be just an aux belt

like fred said the belt is about £20 the tensioner is another £80ish or something i think it maybe just the belt mate for that price, make sure they change the tensioner and actually ask to have the old one back to make sure its done.

We do it for £65 more but you get a aux belt kit and full service all with gen parts.

Ask for a full auxiliary belt kit and cam belt kit to be fitted that way you get all the pulleys iirc

its the one in Dumbarton which is the local Renault dealer and as far as i no there are no Renault specialists near me it is the kits they are fitting that's why i was surprised with the price

I am also looking into prices and AC east lane in Paisley quoted me £390 too. However, i am unsure as to whether this includes the tensioners ? the service mgr was a total 'del boy' and didn't seem to know his arse from his elbow! as Fred says bro, check it out as they may be at it... be sure and email me when you find out as i'll need mine done in approx 2000miles...
