Is this a good quote?

Try www.bell.co.uk mate. I've had a quote of £1000 tpft with them for a valver and I am 18 with no NCD so I am sure you could get it cheaper still.
That's not to bad for a valver.
I was paying £700odd when I was 20 with 2yrs NCB with all my mods.
It's down to £300 now I'm an old man hehe! (22 & 4yrs NCB)
One point though, how far away from being 20 are you? It makes a big difference and I wouldn't be suprised if you could get it down to £500ish. My insurance cocked up on my renewal and just changing me from 20 to 21 knock over £250 off!
Also, what's the price for a 12month policy?

1996 Valver
I’m 20 in Feb, so can’t really wait till then/ the monthly cost of temp cover will probably make it equal to the same price.
I know this will upset allot of people, but what how much will mods boost the price,

About the mods mate - just put them in on the quote if it's with elephant you are getting a quote as they normally allow you to get a price including mods online. Did you try bell? As I said they are a lot cheaper than elephant for me - and they also allow you to enter mods online. They may however tell you that you have to phone them to get a quote if you tick certain boxes on the mods page (the only one I know they do this with for sure is if it's lowered more than 50mm.
Thats a good quote the dude who i sold my valver to was also 19 & he was going to pay £1200 tpft.
One thing with elephant is check the excess - they have a standard one because of your age, and you have the option to add voluntary to it, my excess was more than my insurance on my valver !!!!
