Yep that will be just fine. Just don't use it all... normally 3l is enough but these boxes are fill to overflow.

cheers mick.....also will changing the engine oil along with new oil filter, how much oil is the 172 to take shell i just stick 3lt in then leave it for a few mins then top to level.

sbv116, (5.5) thanks mate....also iv got my self a new genuuine renault oil filter to replace the old one with.

oil im using is (shell helix 5w-40) fully synthetic my mate got this oil last week after paying £45 to fined out it the wrong oil so i just gived him £20 so got a little deal really
