Is this noise normal for 1.2 16v?

Title says it all, is this noise normal for my 1.2 16v clio 2 ph2 is there anyway to stop it or make it quiter?

I have exactly the same problem when you rev it, it sounds like air or something.

Sounds like your air filters missing!

Sounds normal to me, Its just when you open the throttle wide open from idle, the air in front of the throttle body rushes through it to the vacuum behind it. Its just equalising pressure.

Wouldn't worry about it, its just laws of physics in my opinion.

Get it checked for peace of mind if its worrying you.

No I don't meant the chh noise that's the induction kit, I mean I sounds tappey just wondering if it was a fault or just the general sound of the engine

Yeah thats normal, 1.2 tractor engine

mine is only the 8v and it sounds like that all the time, sounds like a diesel when cold as well. tis the beauty of the engine

Adjust the tappers then. They're quiet engines when the gap is correct.

Well not a tractor engine anyway.
