Issues with my Sony CD player.

Against my wishes, I bought a secondhand CD player.

It loads/unloads CD's perfectly fine and makes all the right noises.

But the fcuking thing won't switch on. Is it fcuked or am I doing something wrong?

Have you checked the wires at the back for any loose connectors etc?
