Boat. minter though. got it today finally. Got a few plans for it. Already ordered a pannel filter for it. next up is:

sportlines
silvervisions
Shorter aerial or a pointy bee sting one.

Already given it a wash and polished/egp'd the thing. Stealers had waxed it and also pc'd the thing so it is in good nik right now.

Engine mods are waste of time on 1.2, just makes more noise, but thats prob what you want . lovely motor there mate whats the mileage on it, looks like the 1.2 dyn the wife had in 02, she would do 47mpg combined, i used to drive the bugger to death.

lol got just under 15k on it. im getting 35+ but thats town ive has 40mpg so far. lowest ive had was 18 and i was giving it some beans lol.


yeah engine mods will be very small like the filter. doubt id ever go further than a decat tbh. waste of time. lowering is a must.

lol. erm. well its a little more torquey however its spelt at low revs. and im not sure if my old one was faster to 80 mph than this one but then the last one had nowt on it lol.


same for same. the engine sounds better though. just nice to drive tbh. not something i wanna go out and thrash.

Did you really get 18mpg? Honestly?? I did a track day at silverstone in my 182ff and got it to12mpg and the car never really went bolow 5 thousand revs, cained non stop. So just find it hard to see you got those figures from a 1.2?? Also i used to have a 1.4 16v, and the worst i got was about 23mpg.:S

if you reset the trip as ur puttin your food down the mpg will fall very low even a 1.2 but will go stright up after that
