itb conversion, not running vvt, how much power is this costing me?

I had my DTA ecu instaled by someone and yesterday it was pointed out that vvt is not connected, how much power is this costing me?

I now have to chase the loom and work out the pins e.t.c to connect it up, then i cant turn it on as i dotn have a laptop that will run the DTA software, and i ssupect even when i do turn it on it will throw the map out to unsafel imits :|

To check teh vvt do i jsut put some power across the pins? how much?

Ive read that it switch's off at 6500rpm, is this something that can be controlled within the DTA ?

12v across the solenoid dude. Are you running an f4r engine, loom and ecu midge? ecu pin 37 on ph2 and 64 on ph1 if you are

the solenoid needs 12v to one pin (ignition switched live), then the other pin connects to ECU pin 10 which is a controlled output earth switch. I wouldn't try to activate it until you've got the car on the dyno for mapping, as you say it will change quite a lot
