This,and yes it does help.7800rpm is perfectly safe for a standard bottom end, its not to do with power having the rev limit that high, for the track day boys and racers etc it helps out on track
We actually don't rev it that high very much at all,there is no need,just depends on the circuit.Yeah i think mine revs to 7600 i think.
Whats the max RPM the car can rev at all day on a standard bottom end? As in driving it hard all day on track?

thought so! LOL unless you have 300+bhp i wouldn't bother reving the **** off it up that bit, plonk it in 5th, let the fast boys past then catch up later
