Itb'd clio owners - Issues?

Hi Guys, been weighing up going forced induction or N/A, I know a lot of the issues you can get with boost but do people with ITB's experience any problems at all? Also what sort of power are you getting with cams? Cheers

I've had itbs and cams for 3 years and not had a single issue that could be pinned on the jenveys or reliability as a whole

ITBS are very reliable when installed right and mapped correctly. Simple as that...

Dependant on the cams/engine health you'll be looking at between 205-215bhp and between 160 and 170ft lbs on an otherwise standard engine.

Certain cheaper throttle position sensors can fluctuate and cause poor running but they're not exactly expensive, no different to having to change a sensor on a standard car. Awesome bits of kit on the whole

I've run them on a daily (mk1 clio) for roughly 18 months. Occasionally have to check and adjust the balancing, also had a cheap TPS cause grief, which once replaced with a decent one has performed faultlessly. I fully expect my new build to behave exactly the same. ITB's are definitely perfectly usable and ideal for a daily

ul have to show me how this 1 goes when its mapped and running cos that mk1 shifted

Agreed - if set up correctly and checked/re-calibrated then they will be fine
