Its Amazing What Some Polish & Elbow Grease Will Do!

Car  Coiley'd Clio PH2
Ok, so not exactly pics of the whole car...
Did some colour coding at the weekend and the finish was really dull. Spent a couple hours with a polishing cloth and SRP, the result was quite surprising.

whats SRP mate?

SRP - Super Resin Polish.

You will probably see people say SRP a lot on this forum. EGP is also used a lot, which is Extra Gloss Protection.
Both products are made by AutoGlym, very good stuff.

Its come up well..... Will Improve the Look of the ten fold aswell :)

woow, i think i need to do that with mine... fook trying to coat it with laquer! it took me ages to get it right without dripping or without accidentally touching it and left finger marks..

Erm thats what you have to do when spraying metalic paints with laquer like that. The process (afaik) is primer then paint then 1500 grit wet and dry to a matt finish then laquer. Then wet and dry the laquer to a matt finish and then cut it back up with polish.

Polished my sidestrip up today the one that went all crappy and it's turned out to a perfec finish. ta Nick ;)

polished my colour coded front mouldings too and theyv come out like fresh! looks even better than when i put the laquer on thanks!

Hi sorry bit of a noob here, but did u remove the back bumper to colour code it or just mask off the bits around it. And do the side strips pop off or do u need to take the door panel off from the inside to get at them from the back. Come to think of it, does anyone know if there is a thread on this site explaining this entire process?

Thanks
Dan
