Its Broke Again!!!!

Did a trackday at donny today everything was going grate with the car and was really pushing my new H&R coilover's which where spot on nuffing pass me all day in my group witch inclued a couple of focus rs's a trophy plenty on golf gti's of all age's (it was a gti owner's club event) tt's and elise's.
It was all going well untill the 2nd to last session when i was braking in to the last corner i herd a metalic noise pull in straght away and my AUX belt a split down the middle so day over, just got home know after 3 hours on a tow truck

Good job it didn't snap completely, it can damage the cambelt and your in a world of s**t then lol.

172 has electric fan, don't know what the aux belt actually does lol. Think it's the air con and alternator.

So it snapped? Usually flings itself into the cambelt! If you were slowing down in gear too I'd bank on 16 valves and a couple of shafted pistons....
