-It isn't as quick as a FRS
this is probably the fastest renaultsport car ever made on the right track... without slick cut tyres.
Watch your step whilst backtracking fella!also, it will be the fastest renaultsport clio ?
Err noi agree actually and i didnt say it was faster than a focus rs. so dont jump. but the fact that it will be a close one says a lot about the handling of the car but we will have to wait to see what the mags and online journo`s say first..

Probably the only voice with experience on here. I can't wait for the 5th gear feature, just to either way the CS response will be golden!!Err no
But I know the truth
Actually the power to weight ratio etc etc etc,the 182 woks out at 8bhp more.
And the the comments will be classic.

You're so funny, it's amazing. So a 1*2 besting a 200 on a tight track isn't fair, we need a proper track. But a 200 getting close to a FRS on a tight track, that's ok?you mean the quoted power ? most 182`s are 175bhp and 172`s are usually 165bhp ther light weight is the only saving grace, put a passenger in or two and it becomes a fairly average paced car TBH.
also in a test between a clio 200 and a 182 on a tight track it may well be in the 182`s favour no doubt but id imagine there are proper circuits where the clio 200 would be faster... not to mention any test where you have one well looked after well run in car vs a very tight new car isnt exactly fair when power to weight is so close
It'd be a bit unfair for everyone to start commenting on performance though, since most of us haven't driven one . I'm sure it drives beautifully

One minute the 200's as quick as the FRS, then it isn't, make your mind up!
Flol, lets just avoid the point then. Is the FRS/200 vid irrelevant then?would a 182 be as fast as a go kart on a go kart track ?
Trust me you will love it,enjoy.I'll try and get some interior shots tomorrow afternoon. In regards the black on the front - it really is like marmite. It works really well on black, yellow and white cars - but wouldn't work so well on neutral or darker colours. I specifically went for the black wheels as again they set off the white really well, and look great with the red calipers underneath. Hopefully I should get the cup stickers next week; Renault sent Twingo ones to the dealer so they wanted to confirm before putting them on!
I can help a bit in the RS vs RS200 debate. I also have a Focus ST which puts out about 290bhp with the mods I have on it - and I can safely say that in a straight line (at the moment!) it eats the RS200 big style; that may change when the RS200 is run in as it feels very very tight at the moment.
However, my view is that the RS200 is a lot more stable than the ST round corners with what feels like never-ending amounts of grip; I guess the cup chassis helps with this. Mostly though it's down to weight in the corners, with the ST weighing nigh on 1500kg, vs the 1250ish of the RS200.
Overall, yes, an RS200 could keep up with a normal ST, but a modded ST or stock RS would open up a decent lead on the straights and still have enough to keep the RS200 at bay round the corners.
