Well, after 2.5 years it's time for the 'for sale' advert to be written, having bought a house at the weekend the car will be going up for sale in the next few weeks.

At the moment I have a set of clean / no marks anthracite 182 wheels sat in the garage which i took off when i fitted the black Cup Turini's i have at the moment... what do you think i should sell the car with?

Shall i take off the black turini's, sell the car with the standard wheels/tyres or sell the car 'as-is' and then sell the 182 wheels afterwards?

Once this is decided, the car will be up for sale (well it is now really, bar writing the advert).
 
id sell with the 182 wheels cus reckon ya wud get more for ya turinis sold seperately, specially on here

Will probably sell for around 8.8k i would guess - thanks for the replies :D

yeah struggling to judge price tbh... but all the big bills have been done... 36k service and belts, 4 new exaltos fairly recently along with discs and pads.
 
i'd put it in for £8250 ish

can't do any harm to try, if you're not in a rush to sell

it works in your favour that it's had it's 36k, belt and tyres etc.
 
I'd be aiming at least the 8.5k mark for it. LY normally gets a premium over other colours and tis a mint example!

As said sell it as std. (or just give the new owner the option when it comes to the wheels?)
 
It's a stunning car, good luck with the sale although I'm sure you wont have any problems! I'd put the 182 wheel back on it, best to sell it as standard as possible.
 
Taking the exhaust off might be a pain in the arse as i havent got the standard one.. and im in no rush to sell.. i will hold out for the right price but thanks for the comments
 
Everyone has a different opinion on price.. at the end of the day, its worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it

I reckon you whack it up for £9.5k and see what people think!

The highest price LY on PH's is £10.5k with 17k on the clock 05 plate and the cheapest is also a 05 plate with 22k going for £8995
 
Can we see a final set of piccies to round off your lovely car.Cant believe your selling up.Just about my favourite car on here.
 
Ofcourse Ian :D i cant believe shes going either really, i will probably cry!! but times move on and trust me, better things are comming ;)
 
Does this car not have apex springs on it? Just a thought, as that may effect resale slightly, especially to buyers who want standard. My advice is it sell as it is now. Maximum wow factor for anyone viewing it, which means much more likey to pay a bit more.
 
Unless it sells on here, I'd sell it as standard. You'll get more for it seperate, and it'll probably sell easier.
 
Stick it up for sale now as it is, as people may want it looking mint how it is now.

If no interest in a couple of weeks, return to standard selling parts and drop the price to outweigh it.
 
thats an awesome car. one of my favourites on here.
if you were selling it before i got mine i would have had it off you as it is for your asking price.
but as for the common buyer you might be best to get it back to standard.
shame tho :(
 
mines up for 9300, ive had 9 calls in 2 days and loads of emails, most of the emails are people wanting to px there car or need to sell there's first, u gotta remember its a rare colour and people will pay top price. i paid 10k for mine 5 months ago thats how badly i wanted one. like u said its worth what someone is willing to pay

Thats whats wrong with this site. I've never seen a trophy under 9k, and i check out piston heads and trader every week or so. Unless its free on here, its too dear........
