I've got no headlights!

Hello!

So driving about the dark roads if Weardale last night and my headlights just went... The icon on the dash doesn't come on either.
The side lights, rear lights, fog lights and full beam still work.

But then the headlights came back on after a bit. Now they're off again.

Anyone know what's up? My central locking only works on one door too, which has been like this about 2 weeks now.

Are my electrics buggared? Something loose?

How could I find that out?

I'm not sure whether the headlights are one of them but there's a load in the passenger footwell on the underside of the dash - they're known for getting kicked and bashed around, check they're all seated properly.

There was one connection that was half way out.

Started the car and lights are in. Hopefully that was the issue and not just a coincidence!
