Ixtar g-3 Glasscoat

Seriously mate its pish. Even if it did last 5 years (which it wouldn't) you would want a light polish in that time as you will induce some swirls at least no matter how carefull you are when cleaning it. Plus they will put it on over paint in probably pretty poor condition, so if you ever wanted to get it sorted out later on it would all be removed.

Autoglym Super Resin Polish, Extra Gloss Protection and Collinites 476 would last just as long or longer, would look as good or better, and cost about £35...the markup on these types of products is crazy, will cost the dealer £40 TOPS and thats including the interior stuff too.

lol 5 years i would estimate 3 months and a maximum of 6 depending on many circumstances such as the weather and what you use to wash with

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
i use SRP and EGPetc at the moment any wat and i was given some other AG polish (high gloss i think) and they are great (but i wonder is EGP meant to be that watery)
i was thinking the mark up was probably huge but halfrauds all over AG treatment is about £300 for a small car!
my mum got conned out of £200 quid for supaguard treatment on her primera when she got it and she was given a nice bag with the products used but £200 for 6 products!

EGP is meant to be watery, yes. Not my favourite sealant but does the job.

The AG protection system is different to SRP and EGP but
for the difference in price I would always go for this route as not polishing at all for the year will in most peoples hands result in a badly swirled car. Also people think these systems are miracle cures, leaving bird lime and tar sitting on the surface for months and thinking a quick spray down and a sponge will have it looking like new again.

For £200 you could get a decent detail which would include the inside and a machine polish and a decent-ish wax. I know where my money would be spent (and I am open for business again come March...)
