Had a cold day at croft! managed to get some pics even though I did forget to take my gloves, making my hands feel like they were going to fall off holding the camera all day!...

It was far too cold - we lasted till about half 3 then decided enough was enough! - forgot to take the longer lens with me too so was a bit gutted!

Yep that's me, First picture was after I had got it totally wrong and ended up doing a half spin only lost a couple of seconds there.
I have never known Croft so slippy, had really soft tyres on but just could not get any heat in to them. It dried out enough in the afternoon so that we could push harder, we set 3 top 10 stage time's out of 8, came 10th over all and 2nd in class, there was 90 starters I think and about 25 in our class. Last stage it poured down and I ran out of talent on the first corner where the wet tyres we had put on just would not stop, turned right onto the grass instead of left to aviod the wooden fence and then took an eternaty to get back on to the track. Once the wets heated up they worked well but with about 30 secs lost'st the class was no longer in our grasp. That was awarded to John Deagan in a very quick Honda Civic ( well done).
