jacking points

Took the car into get the wheel balanced the other day and noticed that the jacking point is really bent. Can they be replaced? If so, is it an easy job?

I need to o my front ones as the standard jack i once used bent them.

I was thinking about getting it on a ramp and getting a big hammer or some big pliers to bend them back

is bending it back not going to weaken it?

The sills are made of cheese they always bend, better off jacking on the chassis leg, that doesnt bend.

To fix the sills all you need is a hammer and a block of wood or similar, hammer them back straight and give them a lick of paint.

why do they need painting? They look ok, just bent inwards. I'll give it a mallet job tomorrow then

I painted mine because where the sills had been jacked on and the paint had come off, just painted it to stop it rusting. You may not need to.
