jammed cd changer magazine

okay probably wrong forum but i need help with this asap as going to smash the feckin thing in!

trying to install a cd changer, have plugged digital cable into back of headunit and all is fine, the cd headunit recognises the existence of the cd changer.

but and this is the bit that i am close to losing it with is when i try to eject the empty magazine it moves out like 2mm and i cant grip it at all to get it out of the changer.

posted last night on the ice forum but please someone let me know what the feck to do!

My old alpine used to do this regularly, push the magazine in and start again. press the eject button, and when it gets jammed give it a thump on the top (the largest surface - where it says "alpine"). use the side of your fist, quite hard, but try not to punch it. you get used to where and how hard to do it eventually. i used to have the changer in the glove box cos it did it so often.

its a vdo ch0600 or something like that......have just opened it up to see what the feck is up!

Result!!!!!!!! Opened it up and the trays for the cd magazine had slid out into the player, so when the mag was ejecting it couldnt as trays were jamming it....slid them back in, mag popped out, put in 6 cds put it back together again and plugged it in and its playing away as i type! quite proud of myself!
