Focus RS Mk1
Brakes are now on, the old discs were starting to get a little lip on them but the pads had loads of life in them. i'll keep hold of them for a while.
So standard setup:

Apologies for the filthy wheels!
Reviews, well the initial pedal feel, eg first 5mm has softened ever so slightly but once that travel has gone they bite so hard, braking hard i can feel the back of the car rear up and all the weight wanting the car so do an endo. Then just went you think that your slowing enough you can push the pedal even harder and the car just stops dead.
I can find the limit of the cars grip so quickly, can hear the tyres just starting to chirp on the road when they just loose grip under breaking.
overall, fantastic, no brake sqeaul either so thats a bonus. Will see how they fair on track next week but cant compare them to std brakes as i never used them on track!
So get them fitted if you can. I have here the Wilwood Lightweight, dust sealed calipers, CNC machined ally brackets, braided lines, 295mm discs, red stuff pads, Std fluid.
I think they look the business too, subtle behind the black rims
ktec offer this kit for £650 + vat, that doesnt include braided lines, or a decent pad! your looking at over £800!
Jamsport are offering the full kit for £700 all in. Bargain with everything you'l need!
