Janspeed 182 sport or supersport?

Hello guys !

Im going to purchase a Janspeed catback. But Im still hesitating between sport and supersport...

Im looking for vid where i can hear KTR/Janspeed exhaust sound (sport and supersport).
Can you help a french neighbor ?

Do you want it loud?

Supersport isn't even that loud untill you decat. So I'd imagine sport is almost standard sounding

I have the supersport, but with decat.

IMO If you want it louder than standard go for supersport, if your just looking to replace the old rusty one thats probably falling off and want as close to standard then go for the silenced version.

I have the supersport cat back, sounded crap at first but after a few miles it has settled down. Only really hear it when you put your foot down, once cruising you hardly notice it

Get the supersport mate. Sport will be way too quiet if your keeping the cat in.

If you were to decat tho the sport does sound mint

Definitely.

I have a supersport with the (unsilenced centre section) and standard CAT. It ticks so many boxes over the OEM one, it's untrue. Lighter, better built, sounds better, looks better and doesn't boom through the rest of the cabin.

Definitely a good all-rounder purchase for the 182, imo...

Have a look through Clio media and I did a vid of my decatted supersport, proper loud lol.

I can't believe how much it tamed down when I put cat back on though

whats the fitment like on these exhausts?

I fitted mine on axel stands and was easy to get it sitting flush as I replaced the rear exhaust hangers too.

Getting the old one off is the hardest bit!

Fitted a supersport today. Big improvement on previous k-tec systems i've fitted in the past as far as ease of fitting goes. Nice system in general actually.

Very nice well made system. I bought this with the decat mainly due to the sleeved join between the decat and centre section. I was sick of the standard join blowing all the time

The launch control kicked in on the standing vid, so could only rev to 4k, this was with the exhaust just fitted but sounds better the more it cokes up!

I've got a janspeed sport and it is only a tiny bit louder than std. The difference is only just noticeable, not boomy.

i have just brought the janspeed sport and would say the sound is about right for everyday use, it does get louder if you go on a long journey, also i have a sports cat so that prob makes it a bit louder too

I ordered mine between xmas and new year...i think the 27th. I dont think they are open until new year now as the cash hasnt come off my card. I ordered the system with the slash cut tail pipes as they really look way better rather than that "wheel barrow" effect. I got the supersports version. De-catting seems a bit civic owner to me...you know a bit LOOK AT ME while i drive through town at 5mph! Noone thinks a car that is THAT loud at low speeds is cool...you just look like you have a small penis!
