Janspeed sports cat

Thinking of fitting one of these to my MK1 172! I already have a k-tech stealth system and thought it would go well with it!
Would the car have to be remapped once fitted?

Nah mate, should just bolt in. You may have an issue with length though as I believe the Janspeed was designed for the phase 2 which had a slightly longer cat and 2 lambda probe holes. The second hole can just be blocked.

Is the issue with the length a big problem. Will it still fit or would it cause the exhaust to knock in other areas?

The main question is then will it fit without causing other problems?
How/what would be the best way to block the second lamda sensor hole?

Yes it'll get louder, and you dont need a remap, but... the car will run loads better for having the correct fueling.

if you wanted a k-tec sports cat then we are having a group buy on the exhausts, just had part one (5 orders) and there will be another one in january, the sports cat is available if bought via the group buy for 15% off, i think its £285+VAT so work it out from that, maybe an option, they do a 1 lamba sensor and a 2 lamba sensor sports cat, check out www.k-tecracing.com

K-tec sports cat group buy sounds very good.

I have the Steath system fitted and would definately likea few more horses without the hassle of having to change the pipe back for MOTs.
