Is a worn mount causing my 182 to jerk when lifting of the throttle? The engine doesnt seem to move about much if revved when stationary but i wonder if its the gearbox mount. If I didnt have man flue Id investigate it but just wondered everyones thoughts

Top drivers side or gearbox? Like i say the engine when revved seems quite still.

Ive just done the top engine mount and pulled the engine forward before tightening the four mount bolts. The problem i have is that ive now got a fair amount of vibration coming through the whole car.
Could i have pulled it too far forward?

If it's a brand new mount it'll need a little time to settle and bed in. Give it a few days and if it's not settled down then push it a little back but not much.

I was wondering if it will settle, i loosened it then ran the engine, shut it off then re-tightened them. To be honest the trade off for how tight it feels now is worth it. Somehow it feels like a nicer drive all together, its just vibey at idle
