JL audio sub

Have been offered a JL Audio sub, inc boot build quite cheap. How does JL compare to the JBL that I have at the moment?

What particular model is it?

Im very impressed with mine - Im over-powering it I think, and running it at the wrong Ohm-age (2 not 4) and its perfectly happy

The sound is tight and quite well controlled, though perhaps not the greatest musical quality, but its fine for the dance and r&b stuff

I reckon you need to ask him what model the sub is and also what make and model the amp is, that way you can see how much power its going to be putting out.
