Just brought a 182 woohooo

Hello everyone just purchased a lovely 04 plate 182 - its blue (can't remember the name). From a dealer in kent. I traded in my 106 gti in for it. I'm so excited its untrue, the car itself has only done 20k miles and is in perfect condition. I'll post some pics thursday when i've picked it up.

So how does it compare to the 106GTI?

i sold my modded 106 gti last month after over 5 years of ownership to get a clio 182 with cup packs, when i think about natural sucessors for the gti peugeot dont do one and the clio fits the bill.

im enjoying the clio its a bit more grown up and refined not quite as much feel through the wheel when cornering but just as much grip you just need to learn the limits you could almost feel what the treadblocks on the 106 gti tyres were doing, the clio is just as fast if prob not faster but little less feel you just need to trust it, let it c**k its leg up on the bends and grin.

So how does it compare to the 106GTI?

To be honest i test drove a 182 about 6 months ago and it didn't have the same feel as the one I brought today. The one today felt so planted and quicker. I guess its because it was an ex demo i test drove 6 months ago.

On the test drive today I only gave it a little but it felt quick and you could feel the torgue. In the pug you had to hit 5k + to feel it go then it would fly.

Going to miss the pug but going to enjoy the 182's toys.

P.s is the standard stereo any good ???

Its Arctic, Racing or Petrol.

Petrol is very dark, it used to be called Paddock Green.

Mondial is the Cup Blue. Monaco is the dark blue from the 172's.
