Just did an oil change !

Just changed my oil on the clio, Put 5w40 Fully synthetic in.

Took forever to get the sump plug out. Had to buy a 10mm square plug because thats all they had and dremel it down to 8mm to fit!

Nightmare.

Still its done now and feels much better to drive. The oil was thick black, Needed doing desperatly.

Cheers for Fred for the help with part numbers and oil spec.

Cost £35 for the oil and £10 for the filter and washer.

Ahh, I meant a 10mm square socket down to 8mm square. Not the plug, Sorry.

Socket was a bodge. Job was done properly.

lol. I did think of the door handel idea, Read about it somewhere before. It took some effort getting the sump plug out, Dont know who tightened it up to tight.

Feels so much better to drive! Is this normal, Or am i feeling a placebo effect?
