Well i'm not sure how it works really, how old is it?

The big boss at work dropped hers and we took it to the Apple store in Lakeside, to the genius bar.

They just looked at it, said "Yep that's broken" and replaced it there and then.

you have to call up o2 insurance (monday - sat iirc)

Then they arrange a courier to exchange it.

I cracked my screen by dropping it. Called o2 and had a new one the next day. £25 excess added to your next bill.
