yeah, the fueling is shocking, im dreading taking the engine out tbh. you just know how f**ked its going to be LOL

I would pay you good money to help me my 172 when I get it as I'm a perfectionist myself and rarely settle for second best.

ENGINE HAS JUST LET ALL ITS OIL GO ON THE DRIVE.

Seems to be pissing out the oil temp sensor/filter/sump!

Nice parents will be over the moon! What a joke, reading what stoddie posted, its not the first time its dumped all its oil!
oh dear.. cant say im suprised!
 
With something like this which is none standard, has had several owners and been arsed about with by the sound of it the only realistic option is to pull it apart - save what is decent and build it again from scratch.

Only that way can you be sure it's all upto spec and well sorted. You could chuck 5K into an engine but if the loom is ropey then the net result could be 5K of melted ally!
