just had a quote for replacing cambelt on the 1.5 DCI from Renault

As in the title, Renault want 542.00 to replace the cambelt on the 1.5 DCI engine. That is bloody expensive, wheres my nearest back street garage?

Are renault expensive for servicing then? As I think that is very over-priced.

54K service? Reno £260, independent with receipt and stamp £70

New discs + pads? Reno £300, independent with receipt and stamp £120

Thats why adam left renault he knew he could offer a better service and cheaper too and most of his customers are now coming to him, he originally said 325 but i told him it was someone on cs and got him down to 300 which i thought was fairly decent

£300 is more normal still my local deaership does them for £200 from memory.

Its only a quick job realy.
