I'm going to go to the renault garage tomorrow to get it checked out.
The seller had told me the car had already had this checked out in the recall.....

A lot of the time on the recall they only grease the catch up.....mine was playing up again a couple of years later and they replaced the whole catch f.o.c..

hm they replaced the whole latch on my bonnet when they did the recall. all for free too

dont think just greasing it would stop it opening.
