went to see a 172 silver off autotrader £1850.. beware it is leaking water into cylinder 2... stay well clear!!..

Paid £1k for my mk2 ph2 172 flamer back in April with 79k on the dials. Granted the belts and dephaser needed doing and along with the JMS induction kit and aircon delete (not to mention a few gremlins James found such as a sheared engine mount, wrong sparks etc) came to just over £1k of 'remedial works'. Runs like a dream now so all in for £2k was a bit of a bargain. Oh and the previous owner had glued the inlet manifold on roflol
