Just put cat on for MOT

I did notice a bit of a difference when I fitted the decat. Honestly I thought it was ll in my head. Now that the cat is back on my car sounds a bit... erm, soft. I miss the sound. It doesn't feel as quick either. Even my girlfriend noticed the difference. I was under the impression that any mods to your car would not take effect untill the ECU is remapped. Is this right?

You dont have to touch the ecu for mods to make a difference.
