you need to cut the lip off the top of the scoop to fit. Jay-s wrote a stunning guide for fitment.

How's that going to scoop the air in? Air comes from the front not the back.. ? Or am I being retarded? lol
I was thinking that too. Like the spoon kit for the jap stuff as a scoop on it which scoops air in, surely that just sitting in the scuttle panel isn't going to do anything?

its an adaptation of the maxi setup shown here:

the idea is the air is at a lower denser pressure apparently...

and due to the size of the intake system it will proberly give more peak power
my cammed 2.0f7r made 176bhp on the rollers

Is there an air feed at the front as well as this scoop as well then? The air is usually pushed up over the windscreen after deflecting off of the bonnet though, and there's a lip where the bonnet meets where the windscreen is, there can't be much air heading downstairs at that lip?

the idea is the air is at a lower denser pressure apparently...

Other way around; it is experiencing the high pressure / relatively high density region that is generated right in front of the windscreen as the car moves.

An intake does not have to be pointing 'forward' to work well.

Although a poor example take a look at the below image, ignoring the Vel paths, the colours are indicating accumulated air pressure:

  Mk1 Clio F4R'd
Get higher pressure of air through the scuttle, Makes quite a bit of difference.

  Clio RSI 1.6
Isn't it causing the two high pressure points because of the way the bonnet is shaped with the larger like, "bump" in the bonnet, making the air need to curve around the sides of that before it goes up, Clio doesn't have that?

its the bain of my life, always have autosol in the car lol

meh... polish or carbon ...oooooh hard choice :p

Yet another decent induction system using a V6 espace box, I bet Renault are confused why people are still buying these!

lol, they probably sold more v6 boxes than there is V6 clio's out there.
Looks good Couzens, seen this setup a few times before. Meant to very effective.
