friend of mine owns Ware garage which is also a motorsport specialist and up to november they had sold.....er 4 and one of those was to a vicar although i did drive the demo car which feels solid i have no urge to change

Have to agree ...the 197 advert just doesn't reflect the cars motrosport heritage etc and instead goes for a lifestyle slant/bollox like Peugeot have been doing for ages.

PMSL @ 2 mph, 15-20 mph round mini roundabouts is scary!

As said at speed the car feels composed, but the steering feel is to light at all speeds IMO. That said I like 205 GTi's with no PAS.

Selling fine. Apart from the ad in 2005, the Clio adverts have always featured the Renaultsport version since 1999

Agreed, my old R5 didn't have PAS and the steering was spot on!! Apart from was a tad heavy when parking in tight spaces, trying to turn 195's :S lol

And does no one remember the PH-Quick adverts with the lovely lady that suggests "remove agression before driving" ?
