I finally got round to changing my front pads this morning but managed to snap one of the wheel nuts/lugs/bolts (whatever you call em) in the process. The nut snapped while i was taking the wheel off which was the weird bit! Anyhow theres not enough of the nut sticking out of the hub to get hold of it with any grippers etc. Do you think i'm ok to drive with 1 missing for a while or should i take it to the local garage and get my pants pulled?
My brother said he'd try drilling it out next week and if that didnt work he replace the hub at his garage. The problem is he lives 150 miles away and i've got two long work trips coming up this week so i reckon i could be covering 500-600 miles on 3 nuts before he'd get a chance to sort it!
