Just tested RSTuner 98 Ron - 184.5bhp!!

I just downloaded the RSTuner 98Ron map to my phase one 172 - It has a pipercross filter and sport backbox.

Wooow! Its amazing - The car feels so much better no burbelling noises coming from the exhaust, my idle problem is cured, my mpg clock works and the power is amazing!

Its revs to a ridicolous amount!!

I have done a performance graph and got 184.49bhp and 223nm of torque and i could have pushed the car more!

Does anybody have any idea what the difference is between the GRP N & 98 RON.

yep 98ron is the fuel type, guessing theres a specific map for that fuel.

Well i looked at the metal panel on the right of the driver seat where the VIN number is, and it says that the car weighs 1490 kg so i included my body weight 82.5kg & around 7.5kg for my subwoofer.

So total weight was - 1580kg

No the weight should NOT be "roughly". It has to be spot on for accurate results or you will get figure like that of the above. You need the exact weight of the car with yourself in there and fuel weight taken into consideration. The only way to get this is to go on a weigh bridge.

You also need a very flat bit of road, and minimal or no wind.

The PA's better/main use is for comparing standard map/modded map figures. In this case a rough guesstimate of weight isnt such an issue as long as the test remains constant on all other grounds.

try to use RsTuner it in a different way...if you use livegraph you can see things like airtemperature manifold pressure which is a better thing to aim at. Try to get the lowest airT while driving and tell us what mods you did ?!!?
