K and N air filter

me mate gave me a universal air filter, i was wondering if any1 konws if it will fit a mk1 P reg D-Type engine.

yeah fit it, should be good for 20bhp

Only one way to find out. Take your airbox off and see if it goes. If it does, fair enough. If not, too bad.

Wont make a lot of difference to the performance one way or the other. Whats the D-type - the 1.4?

no its a 1.2, problem is its got a air intake and a hot air intake

Oh right, thats to keep the engine running properly from cold. TBH Id give it the induction cone a miss really, stick it on ebay LOL
