k&n cleaning/fitting

can i clean a K&N induction kit off in white spirits or anything like that?? also underneath theres 2 small holes? i presume 1s a breather pipe, whats the other, this is for a 1.8 16v

The other is for the idle speed control valve.

If you want to clean it use just use hot soapy water always going from the inside out, you can get proper K&N stuff for cleaning it and youll need some K&N oil once clean.

cheers kids so if i fill the filter up with hot soapy water and just wait for it to seap through.

Get the hot tap running through it too.

Dont forget to let it dry fully before re-oiling and fitting.

daf, i did this and the pipes are a tw*t to get back on

use some soap or fairy to get it back one
