k&n help..please

got a 1.4 rt with k&n and have found that i cannot get the filter to sit flat at all, first has anyone else had the problem and second will it effect the engine that much.

yeah i had that prblem. seems as if it doesnt fit right over the carb lookin bit (i know its not a carb). they will fit but u might have to botch sumthing together to make it sealed.

and itll suck all the crap of the day in threw their if u leave it not sitting right.

k+ns are pants on RTs neway. their in the wrong place. sucks in all the heat etc. far better with standard airbox. (only makes it sound btr)
