K-tec 197 re-map

Been thinking about getting this for a while now, the only thing that is putting me off getting it is that if i get it would renault notice its been done and invalidate my warrenty??
Has anyone had it done and what are their opinions on it and have you had any problems with warrenty or the car after its been done?
