K-tec adding VAT to postage?

I was just about to order some stuff and was working out the charges and noticed the trolley includes the postage and adds VAT to it, as well as the items. Is this correct?

They'll have to pay VAT on it... which means it gets passed on to the customer.

Postage stamps are actually zero rated to buy, but when incorporated into a service they carry the same VAT rate as the product being bought.

Postage isn't cheap.

Worth noting that many other places do this too. Nothing unusual.
