K tec Exhaust keeps dropping down

Hi

K tec Exhaust keeps dropping down last time i tighten it up i snaped the bolt in half on the bracket will any of powerflex exhaust hangers help to take the weight ?

New rubber hangers required tbh. Powerflex stuff is meant to be good, but i'm not sure about thei exhaust hangers.

I guessing you have a k-tec stealth?

IIRC a new exhaust backbox bracket is around £20.

I bought a brand new exhaust hanger and as soon as I put my K-tec stealth into it it just sagged down completely. Need to pack it out with sockets.

I think The backbox is way to heavy for the standard exhaust mounts

K tec fitted mine with a new hanger and they even packed the new hanger with piping

I believe the powerflex (polyurethane) bushes are not very heat resilient.
Was told by an exhaust manufacturer who knows what he's talking about.

I used string to keep the mount from dropping but still allow movement. Will try and get some pics with a write up tomo.
