k tec exhaust system

hiya guys, my k tec has been on my car for around 2-3 years, its the full stainless system with twin pipes at the back. ive only recently bought the car, but have the reciept etc, but it seems to have a few leaks on the joins and a leak on the lambda sensor.

ive taken the car already to powerflow and they put exhaust paste around it twice now (around the joins and where pipes attach to one another) and also done a few spot welds around the lambda sensor where it was leaking. however, 3 weeks on and ive still got one or maybe 2 leaks which seem to be from the joins.

k tec says they have a lifetime guarantee would this apply to my case?also what are they like on customer service?havent delt with them before so just want to know where i stand

K-Tec were fantastic with my old xhaust.

i too bought the car with a K-Tec on it, and the baffles broke up. The prevous owner supplied me with the receipt, so i popped up the road to see David at K-Tec.

an hour later I had a new backbox fitted :approve: great customer service!

you should have contacted K-Tec from the start though, they may not like powerflow going near it with their blow torch

i never knew these exhausts had a lifetime guarantee until yday!ill probably tell them from the begining powerflow have done a couple of sport welds on it just to be safe, but its 140 miler each way!:dead:
